i have a migraine and i cannot get out of bed.
so i shall blog and eat ice cream.
which is actually really weird because i hate ice cream.
it just sounded so good.
it consists of pretzel nuggets, which are covered in fudge and filled with peanut butter, in a vanilla malt ice cream base, which is itself swirled with fudge and peanut butter throughout.
i think the pretzels were the reason i wanted it.
in fact, i'm sure of it on account of the fact that there are no more pretzels in the carton/

i met this lady named pam and she was having an awful day

poor woman

so i chatted with her for a while

she told me about the woes of working at walmart

and i just listened

she said she feels like a machine, people don't even think she is there and they are rude to her

When someone buys a pair of TOMS Shoes, a pair is given to a child in need. Over 300,000 pairs of shoes have been given to children under the One for One movement since TOMS launched in 2006. The canvas shoes have been given to children in the United States (Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi and Florida), Argentina, Ethiopia and South Africa. In collaboration with the Clinton Global Initiative, TOMS gave a one time donation of shoes to Haiti. During 2009, TOMS Shoes hopes to give away 300,000 pairs of shoes to children in need. They're sold at more than 500 stores nationwide and internationally, including Nordstrom and Whole Foods, which features styles made from recycled materials. In January, TOMS collaborated with Element Skateboards to create a line of TOMS shoes, skate decks and longboards. For each pair of TOMS Element shoes and/or skateboard is bought, one of the same will be given to kids at the Indigo Skate camp in the village Isithumba in Durban, South Africa. Blake Mycoskie is hoping to expand the One for One model into other areas like housing, water and schoolbooks.

Once upon a time

Josh and I were driving down University Ave. in Provo

We were at a stoplight

All of a sudden about thirty girls showed up on the corner

all riding beach cruisers

It was terrifying

Furthermore, I LOVE BEACH CRUISERS.

Just not packs of girls riding them

My nana used to live in Hermosa Beach, CA

Oh the memories, walking to the pier every day

Playing in the ocean and going to Scotty's for breakfast almost every morning
